And no more having to run in this stylish ensemble (also the beard is gone).
![Taken after a winter run. You'll notice a bit of ice still stuck to my beard on the left.](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhn8yuuaTOiBA90BiL6tvRzdNtvrinKPoPj8HkDYPuNOkqyLvoObX4yUIb0mHirWK2SdH2ziCMEFx7QY1idHlzuPbNfeuDFFWViH_HzsvlusPTCdTfqWPPYpBAEcjgczdsXqI8z0xILcNQ/s200/winter_running_ensemble.jpg)
The peacocks have come out in full dress.
![Ostentatious much?](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiD1GpUpAi9bBRsR7hWgkkQ54A4JWhWA19gpfnByE4lvHv15aBR46e6rXML4AQ4y8v9e__J90j6k749Lk-3Htbfy7x8f54hlSdnfz3gBiWNv2LaREGKxXv1pPTJx2tYRqvhBZhvdT9TVGg/s200/full_dress_peacock.jpg)
Here is one silently (strictly in the aural sense) stalking a potential mate.

The peacocks and peahens like to roost up high. Many of them take advantage of the trees. This isn't all of them, but it's quite a few. I'm pretty sure there are peahens in there as well, but they're not as easy to see.

Actually, at the moment, the peacocks drastically outnumber the peahens, and we only have a handful of peahens.

Before too long, if these numbers don't change, we may be looking at the last of the peacocks.
![Yes. An obvious attempt at poignancy.](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYcLcd_jYjYhYNBbLDP8ZJocB7hQzAHcV7fBJR_LIVHJSdlGAVL_iQxqoyGNk6RglwbaLbcM5CWNHnLJT5TdRbQVdjEbiTHLEPVSCuGsjJ-Hqx1vXF749z9ej4Oz8-TQdQFjOpcBQEz2Y/s200/the_last_peacock.jpg)
The last of the peacocks in our yard, at any rate.
Finally, this is Noname (Noh-nah-mee).

He plays fetch.

Ok...If I saw you running behind me on a path dressed like that, I think I would shit in my pants. If you were in your van dressed like that, I think I would call homeland security. It's a good thing that we know that you are a sweet person.
Well that last bit was from , Suzi... Julie... Kyle... and Asa. We miss you man.
I hadn't considered it, but now that you mention it, I do look a *little* scary in that photo. Fortunately, if you saw me in context, a lone figure running on the shoulder of a two lane highway (hence the hunter vest) in the midst of winter weather, you would simply see me as pathetic. :)
I definitely miss all you guys. I hope to see you soon.
